Jayme Reaves is the Director of Academic Development at Sarum College. She is also Tutor in Biblical Studies.

Dr Reaves describes herself as a public theologian who works with congregations and communities.

Her doctoral thesis   ( Trinity College Dublin) is entitled  Safeguarding the Stranger: An  Abrahamic Theology and Ethic of Protective Hospitality.

She is going to talk to the William Temple Association  about the Bible and Welcoming the Stranger.

Rosalind Stockley  is Chair of the World Community for Christian Meditation.  

The Benedictine monk  and Catholic priest, John Main, (1926 to 1982) taught Christian meditation as it is today practised by the groups that make up the World Community for Christian Meditation.

Main is described as one of the most influential spiritual teachers of our time.

Rosalind Stockley’s talk is entitled Be Still and Know that I am God:  The Path of Christian Meditation.

The William Temple Association is primarily an Anglican society aiming to bring together Christians of different denominations  who wish to learn and understand more about their faith and its application to contemporary issues.
